SNRE hosts research day

Student research will be on display Friday, Dec. 5 for SNRE Research Day.

Students will present posters at research day.
Undergraduate posters highlighting natural resources management research include:

"Does Crown Class and In-Crown Location Affect Foliar Nitrogen Concentration in Black Spruce?" by Daniel McEntee.

"Evaluating garden-based curricula for use in Alaska preschools," by Nicole Dunham

"Economic Feasibility of Establishing a Hydroponic Greenhouse in Michigan," by Justin Fletcher

Along with student research posters, there will be faculty posters and program exhibits, including the Reindeer Research Program and OneTree Alaska (learning opportunities for K-12 students).

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday in the Wood Center Multi-Level Lounge. For more information, contact Martha Westphal, 474-5276.
