Hikers in Denali National Park will be interviewed by a temporary research aide.

Peter Fix is hiring a temporary research aide to work on a project in
Denali National Park. The research project relates to the park's Backcountry Management Plan, specifically evaluating conditions hikers experienced.
The position involves administering surveys during selected times to visitors who have hiked in the backcountry.
Skills required are:
- ability to follow directions
- attention to detail
- aptitude to interact with park visitors
- ability to represent UAF in a professional manner
Housing in the park will be provided. Compensation is $12.76 per hour, plus travel. The duration of the position is Aug. 22-31. For more information contact
